The EnviroPod Recycling Cycle

Step 1 - Collection (Optional)

In some cases, recycling starts with consumers returning mono-material plastic components to designated collection points, such as stores or drop-off locations. However, in most instances, the EnviroPod is placed directly at the source of waste—such as stadiums, festivals, or distribution centers—to streamline the process and maximize efficiency.

Step 2 - Centralized Transport

When collection points are used, the materials are transported to the strategically placed EnviroPod. In cases where the EnviroPod is already at the source, this step is eliminated, further reducing transportation distances and emissions.

Step 3 - Sorting & Recycling

At the EnviroPod site, plastic components are sorted by material grade. Dedicated recycling streams ensure that all items, regardless of size or type, are processed efficiently and effectively.

Step 4 - Processing & Pelletizing

The sorted materials are shredded, cleaned, dried, and pelletized using EnviroPod’s state-of-the-art system. The final product, post-consumer resin (PCR), is bagged and prepared for shipment back to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Step 5 - Market Re-entry

The recycled PCR re-enters the market as a valuable resource for new product production. This completes the cycle, reducing reliance on virgin plastics and fostering a circular economy.
